| EXHIBITION OF OLD PAINTINGS OF RENOWNED ARTISTS |

| JSW Foundation in its true spirit to promote art has organized an exhibition at Sir J. J. School of Art. The Foundation in collaboration with Government of Maharashtra had initiated restoration work for old paintings in the custody of J J School. |

| Mrs. Sangita Jindal, Chairperson of JSW Foundation is spearheading this project. The project includes restoration of valuable paintings and displaying them in an Arts Museum, which is being developed at the existing Dean’s Bungalow. |

| The paintings displayed are rare works of Vasudev Gaitonde, S.H Raza, Hebber, Shankar Palshikar, Gopal Deoskar, G.D Gondhalekar, Baburao Sadvelkar, Ambutai Dhurandhar, Laxman Pai, Laxman Shresta & Atul Dodhia. |

| The Foundation in consultation with Suhas Bahulkar had selected these paintings from dusty cupboards. Curators Dr. Sharayu Doshi & Dr. Nalini Bhagwat have chosen a selected few and these are displayed at an exhibition from March 1-10, 2008. |
