| Educative CDs / material developed by the Azim Premji Foundation are installed at local schools. 19 CALCs are presently functional in rural schools near Vijaynagar works. JSW Foundation facilitates interaction between parents and school authorities, identifies and trains local teachers and pays them a stipend. The interactive mode of teaching creates excitement in students and in form attracts them to government schools |

| Mobile libraries in Vijayanagar and Vasind make available reading material to students. The Tarapur team has helped in upgrading the library at the CBSE School, which is run by the Chinmaya Foundation. In the industrial area of Tarapur, collaborative projects with other industries are important. |

| JINDAL VIDYA MANDIR |

| The foundation runs three schools, Jindal Vidya Mandir at Vasind has been recognized by a certificate of merit by the Indian Merchants Chambers - Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Cell for their teaching methods and outreach initiatives. |
